Tebex Limited respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Purpose of this privacy notice

This privacy notice aims to give you information on how Tebex Limited collect and process your personal data through your use of www.tebex.io and www.buycraft.net (together referred to as “this website”), and also any associated webstore (a “Webstore”) which utilises the Tebex webstore platform for game servers (the “Tebex Platform”), including any data you may provide through this website when you purchase a product or service.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. We realise and understand that children and young people may visit this website. It is our policy to encourage all minors to consult with their parents or legal guardian before submitting any content or information to us, our commercial partners or other third parties.

It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data.

2. The data we collect about you

Personal data means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include anonymous data. We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

• Identity Data includes first name, last name, and username or similar identifier.
• Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
• Transaction Data includes details about payments and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.
• Technical Data includes IP address, login data, browser type and version, time zone, location, operating system and platform.
• Profile Data includes your username and password, purchases or orders, and account preferences.
• Usage Data includes information about how you use our website, products and services.
• Marketing and Communications Data includes your marketing and communication preferences.

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes race or ethnicity, religious beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, health, genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

If you fail to provide personal data

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract. In this case we may have to cancel a product or service but we will notify you at the time.

3. How is your personal data collected?

Direct interactions. You may give us your Identity and Contact Data by filling in forms, creating an account, subscribing to updates, or corresponding with us.

Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with our website, we automatically collect Technical Data using cookies, server logs and other similar technologies.

Third parties or publicly available sources. We may receive Technical Data from analytics providers such as Google and Cloudflare, and Contact, Financial and Transaction Data from payment and delivery partners such as Help Scout and Braintree.

4. How we use your personal data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to — most commonly to perform our contract with you, where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, or to comply with a legal obligation. Generally, we do not rely on consent other than for sending third party direct marketing by email, which you can withdraw at any time.

Marketing

You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time. We will get your express opt-in consent before we share your personal data with any third parties outside the Tebex group for marketing purposes.

Cookies

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of this website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

5. Disclosures of your personal data

We may share your personal data with Internal and External Third Parties (see Glossary), specific third parties such as our Webstore partners and Amazon Web Services, and parties involved in business transfers. We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

6. International transfers

Many of our external third parties are based outside the EEA. Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection, for example by transferring only to adequate jurisdictions or using Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Data security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to those who have a business need to know, and we have procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach.

8. Data retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. By law we have to keep basic information about our customers for up to 10 years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

9. Your legal rights

Under certain circumstances you have the right to request access, correction, erasure, to object to processing, to request restriction of processing, to request transfer of your data, and to withdraw consent. You will not usually have to pay a fee. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month.

10. Glossary

Legitimate Interest means the interest of our business in conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best and most secure experience.

Performance of Contract means processing your data where it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.

Comply with a legal or regulatory obligation means processing where necessary for compliance with a legal obligation that we are subject to.

2) What we collect and store

We store limited information linked to a player/account for security, moderation, and support.

A) Account identifiers

• Minecraft UUID
• Minecraft username (current; historical usernames may appear in retained support/moderation records)

B) Network and security logs

• IP address history associated with logins (and related timestamps)

C) Moderation records

• Ban history (status, reason label, timestamps, duration if applicable)
• Mute history (status, reason label, timestamps, duration if applicable)

D) Support and reports

• Ticket transcripts and support history (including player reports)
• Ticket records may include attachments or links provided by users/staff (e.g., screenshots)

E) Filter-triggered chat safety logs (limited)

We do not store all chat by default. If a message triggers our automated chat/toxicity filters, we may store that message in Discord to maintain a record for moderation (for example: the message content that triggered the filter, timestamp, and the account identifier).

F) Voice chat (Simple Voice Chat)

We operate an in-game proximity voice chat system. Voice audio may be processed in real time for moderation purposes. We do not retain voice recordings by default. A recording may be created and stored only when it is needed as evidence in connection with a moderation action.

G) Client integrity checks (anti-cheat)

We perform real-time client integrity checks to detect the use of unauthorized modifications (e.g., cheat clients). These checks are performed in memory and no data from these checks is stored.

3) What we do not store

• We do not store Minecraft client version.
• We do not store the results or raw data of client integrity checks.
• We do not operate a separate permanent archive of all Discord messages.
• We do not store full in-game chat logs by default, except where captured as part of support tickets or filter-triggered moderation logs.
• We do not store continuous or bulk voice chat recordings.

4) Why we collect it (purposes)

• operate the Services (e.g., account identification via UUID)
• prevent abuse, cheating, harassment, and ban evasion
• investigate and enforce rule violations (moderation)
• enforce voice-chat conduct rules and retain evidence of violations when necessary
• respond to support requests and player reports
• protect the security and integrity of our infrastructure and community

5) Where the data is stored

Data may be stored in our game server databases and logs, our support/ticket systems, and our Discord server channels used for moderation/support records. Data may be processed and stored in different jurisdictions depending on infrastructure and service providers.

6) Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share data only with service providers that help us run the Services (e.g., hosting, DDoS protection, log storage, ticket tooling), under appropriate safeguards; and/or if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our Services.

7) Retention (how long we keep it)

• IP history / login security logs: up to 12 months
• Ticket transcripts: up to 36 months
• Voice chat moderation recordings: up to 12 months (or longer if linked to an active ban, appeal, or dispute)
• Discord-based moderation/support logs: retained according to Discord's platform retention and our server configuration

8) Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls and limiting access to authorized staff.

9) Your rights and requests

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, and deletion of information where appropriate and where we are not required to keep it. To submit a request, email support.studiosmp@gmail.com with your Minecraft username and UUID (if known), the categories of data requested, the relevant date range, and your Discord ID if linked.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.

1) Acceptance

By accessing or using the StudioSMP Services you agree to these Terms of Service and to our rules. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2) Eligibility

You must comply with Minecraft's and Mojang/Microsoft's terms. If you are a minor, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Services and make purchases.

3) Rules of conduct

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized modifications, harass other players, or otherwise disrupt the Services. Violations may result in warnings, mutes, bans, or removal of purchased content without refund.

4) Purchases

Purchases of ranks, virtual items and in-game currency are digital content delivered to your account. Pricing, availability and the contents of any package may change at any time. Promotional bonuses are time-limited and may be withdrawn. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5) No guarantee of availability

The Services are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, including resets and balancing changes, at any time.

6) Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private. We are not liable for loss resulting from your failure to secure your account.

7) Not affiliated

StudioSMP is not associated with, endorsed by, or affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

8) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. General Policy

All purchases made on StudioSMP, including but not limited to ranks, virtual items, in-game currency, and services, are considered digital content and are generally final and non-refundable once delivered. Refunds may only be provided where required by applicable law or at the sole discretion of StudioSMP.

2. Digital Content and Immediate Delivery

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that the digital content or service may be delivered immediately. Where permitted by law, you agree that your right of withdrawal or cancellation may be waived once delivery begins.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations, except where required by law:

• Account suspension or termination due to violations of the Terms of Service
• Loss of virtual items or currency due to gameplay, resets, updates, or balancing changes
• Accidental or mistaken purchases made by the user
• Unauthorized access resulting from user negligence (e.g., sharing account credentials)
• Real-money trading or transactions conducted outside official StudioSMP channels
• Requests made after the digital content has been delivered and used

4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute without first contacting StudioSMP support may result in immediate suspension or termination of the associated account and revocation of purchased content. StudioSMP reserves the right to contest chargebacks and provide relevant evidence to payment providers and financial institutions.

5. Exceptional Refunds

In exceptional circumstances, StudioSMP may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund or compensation. Any such decision does not establish a precedent or obligation for future cases.

6. Legal Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your country or region, including but not limited to the European Union, the United States, Canada, and other jurisdictions.
